Double Award Win for Acquiesce at She Inspires Awards 2022

On Thursday, our team attended the She Inspires Awards 2022, where we won the Business Team of the Year award and our very own Margaret Mary Carroll won the HER-Abilities Award.

This is such an amazing achievement for the whole team, especially with such strong competition of amazing women from all around the globe.

Team of the Year Award

This award recognises an outstanding team effort for exceptional achievement whether working in charity, business, private or public sector. Teams that have made a significant impact or achieved significant results by successfully utilising the skills of all members of the team.

“Our next category is Business Team Of The Year. Anyone working in this field knows that addiction destroys individuals and their families.  This organisation is both diverse and inclusive, demonstrating empathy, dedication and compassion – and they save lives. They are single-minded in their commitment to empowering women of all ages.

“Our next winner says that she wants other people with mental health issues and learning disabilities to have hope.To realise their dreams. She has herself been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Dyscalculia and dyspraxia. All of this, she says, is an asset to her work in a drug and rehabilitation centre, mental health support groups and Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Winner of Her Abilities…is Margaret Mary Carroll”

We’re incredibly proud of our fantastic Support Worker, Margaret Mary for winning this award.

She is a crucial member of our team and has helped so many people struggling with addiction to turn their lives around by supporting them on their recovery journey.

Margaret Mary said “I feel my own life experiences and challenges have given me an insight into how to help other people with their challenges. I feel it has given me an intuition to sense when others need help and support and it’s amazing to be recognised for my hard work.

Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to our entire team, without whom none of this would be possible and of course we would also like to thank all of our clients for choosing us to be a part of their recovery journey.
