My name is Danielle and I am one of the Co-Founder’s of Acquiesce, I began working in the field of addiction over 20 years ago a receptionist, this is where my passion to work in addiction services started! I would chat to the patients over the reception desk and from getting to know them and hearing their journeys in addiction I knew I wanted to do more to help and to be a part of the solution!
I became an adult learner alongside working within addiction services, completing numerous qualifications:
And as my qualifications grew so did my experience and I progressed in my career, firstly to a Support Worker, then a Recovery Practitioner specialising in Criminal Justice, to Case Management, then to a Team Manager.
At this point I met my partner in business & life, my Husband Adrian, or Adi as most people know him and Acquiesce was born shortly after.
I have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls which keep me very busy and out of trouble!
I like all things beauty, having my nails done, hair and make up done etc Spa days are always a win!
I love fashion and shopping!
I love live music and am a bit of a foodie!
My favorite exercise is reformer pilates and going out for walks, particularly all wrapped up on a crisp winters day.
