About Me

I joined Acquiesce in August 2023 as a Support Worker after three years in the healthcare field. My passion for helping and supporting others inspired me to transition into addiction support, a field initially unfamiliar to me. However, I quickly found that this role aligns deeply with my values and my desire to make a tangible impact in people’s lives. The journey to recovery can be daunting, but I find great fulfilment in being part of this process and providing the necessary support along the way. Since joining Acquiesce, I have gained invaluable knowledge in addiction and recovery, enabling me to offer tailored care to clients as they navigate their personal challenges. It’s a privilege to support individuals at such a pivotal moment in their lives, advocating for their well-being and witnessing their transformation. This rewarding experience continually fuels my passion for this work.
