I discovered recovery after being a client at Acquiesce myself. The experience I had lit a fire in me, inspiring me to help others to discover their road to recovery.
I thrive on supporting individuals with their recovery from addiction and seeing their personal change and growth. Witnessing the light come back into someone’s eyes is rewarding beyond compare. My role as support worker allows me to be a part of this privilege for so many people.
I am an AA group member where I have service at my home group. I am extremely passionate about the newcomer and getting them connected to the recovery community. I attend both AA and CA meetings weekly.
Since completing my own 12 step journey I have the honour to sponsor others, providing a guiding hand through their recovery experience, which is the greatest gift I have received.
